本政策說明「單字派對」（以下稱本 App）處理哪些資料、為什麼、存在哪裡，以及你可以怎麼刪除。
一句話版本
本 App 沒有帳號、沒有廣告、沒有追蹤。為了讓你能跟其他玩家即時對戰， App 會把一組隨機產生的裝置代碼、你取的暱稱和作答結果送到對戰伺服器； 你收藏的單字只存在你的手機裡。
送到對戰伺服器的資料
- 隨機裝置代碼：第一次開啟 App 時在手機上隨機產生，用來辨識「同一支手機」的對戰紀錄。它不是 Apple 的廣告識別碼，也無法用來反查你是誰。
- 暱稱與選擇的角色：會顯示給同一場對戰的其他玩家。
- 作答內容與分數：每題選了哪個答案、花了多久、得分與名次，用來即時計分與產生結算畫面。
- 你常答錯的單字清單（最多 50 個）：只用來決定這一場要出哪些題目，不會被保存。
伺服器可能保存裝置代碼、暱稱與對戰成績，用於計分、排行與防止濫用。保存期間不超過 12 個月。
只存在你手機裡的資料
- 我的單字（收藏的單字、答對／答錯次數）
- 暱稱、角色、經驗值、介面語言與畫面主題等設定
- 單字發音的快取
這些資料不會上傳。刪除 App 即全部清除。
第三方服務
- 對戰伺服器由雲端服務商 Railway 代管。
- 錯誤回報：伺服器使用 Sentry 記錄程式錯誤，紀錄可能包含連線的技術資訊（例如 IP 位址），只用於除錯。
- 單字發音：播放發音時，App 會向公開字典服務 dictionaryapi.dev 查詢該英文單字的錄音；查不到時改用 iPhone 內建語音。查詢內容只有單字本身。
本 App 不使用任何廣告或分析 SDK，不追蹤你在其他 App 或網站的行為，也不出售或分享資料給其他公司。
其他玩家看得到什麼
同一場對戰的玩家看得到你的暱稱、角色、作答狀態（是否已作答、答對或答錯）和分數。 暱稱會經過不雅字詞過濾；不想被認出來，用系統隨機給的名字即可。
刪除資料
刪除 App 即可清除手機上的所有資料。若也想刪除伺服器上的對戰紀錄，請寫信到下方信箱並附上你使用過的暱稱與大約的對戰時間，我們會在 7 天內處理並回覆。
兒童
本 App 分級為 4+，不要求任何聯絡資訊。家長若對孩子的資料有疑問，請來信，我們會協助刪除。
政策變更
若日後有變更，會更新本頁與上方日期。

In short
Word Party has no accounts, no ads and no tracking. To let you play live against other players, the app sends a randomly generated device code, the nickname you choose and your answers to our game server. The words you save stay on your phone.
Data sent to the game server
- Random device code, created on your phone the first time you open the app, used to recognise matches from the same phone. It is not Apple's advertising identifier and cannot be used to identify you.
- Nickname and chosen character, shown to the other players in your match.
- Answers and scores: which option you picked, how long you took, your points and rank, used for live scoring and the results screen.
- A list of words you often miss (up to 50), used only to choose questions for that match and not stored.
The server may keep the device code, nickname and match results for scoring, rankings and abuse prevention, for no longer than 12 months.
Data that stays on your phone
Your saved words and their right/wrong counts, nickname, character, XP, language and theme settings, and cached pronunciations. None of this is uploaded; deleting the app removes it.
Third-party services
- The game server is hosted by Railway.
- The server uses Sentry to record program errors. Error reports may include technical connection details such as an IP address and are used only for debugging.
- For pronunciation, the app looks up the English word on the public dictionary service dictionaryapi.dev and falls back to the iPhone's built-in voice. Only the word itself is sent.
The app uses no advertising or analytics SDKs, does not track you across other apps or websites, and does not sell or share data.
What other players see
Players in the same match see your nickname, character, answer status (answered, right or wrong) and score. Nicknames pass a profanity filter.
Deleting your data
Deleting the app removes everything on your phone. To delete match records on the server, email us the nickname you used and roughly when you played; we will handle it within 7 days.
Children
The app is rated 4+ and asks for no contact information. Parents with questions about a child's data can email us and we will help delete it.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, this page and the date above will be updated.
